This policy explains how to report security concerns responsibly and what behaviour is not permitted around Eggy systems.
1Security commitment
Eggy aims to protect customer accounts, checkout flows, secure downloads, support data and product files using reasonable technical and organisational measures.
2Responsible disclosure
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it through the support page with clear details, affected URL, reproduction steps and potential impact. Do not publicly disclose or exploit it.
3Prohibited testing
Do not perform unauthorised scanning, brute force attacks, denial-of-service testing, data extraction, account takeover attempts, payment manipulation or tests that affect availability or customer data.
4Customer data
You must not access, copy, change, delete or disclose customer data, account records, downloads, payment records or support information without permission.
5Account security
Customers should use strong passwords, keep account email secure, log out on shared devices and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
6Download security
Secure downloads should be accessed only by authorised customers. Private download files, product ZIPs and licence records must not be shared publicly.
7Installed software security
Customers are responsible for securing their own hosting, database credentials, admin accounts, SSL, backups, file permissions and installed software environments.
8Security fixes
If a security issue is confirmed, we may prioritise investigation, mitigation, patch guidance or customer notification depending on severity and impact.
9No reward guarantee
Submitting a report does not guarantee payment, reward, public credit or commercial engagement unless separately agreed in writing.
These legal documents are business templates prepared for the Eggy website and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before final commercial reliance.
