Announcement Swarm Boss Rush

Eggy Swarm Boss Rush Is Now Available

Boss Rush is now complete and available to play in Eggy Swarm.

Boss Rush is exactly what the name suggests. There are no normal enemy waves and no waiting around for the next major encounter. You are thrown into a run built entirely around fighting bosses, one after another, until you either fall or defeat all 12.

What is Boss Rush?

Boss Rush is a dedicated single player mode focused entirely on Eggy Swarm's boss roster.

Each run consists of 12 boss fights.

Every boss is selected randomly from the enabled boss pool, so you are not following a fixed sequence every time you play.

Bosses can also appear more than once during the same run, meaning two Boss Rush attempts can play very differently.

There are no standard enemies mixed into the mode. When a boss appears, that boss is the fight.

How does it work?

You begin the run with your normal Swarm character and build.

Defeat the current boss and you move into a short recovery stage before the next fight begins.

Between bosses you receive:

  • 20% health restored
  • A choice of 3 upgrades
  • A short break before the next randomly selected boss enters the arena

Once your upgrade is selected, the run continues and the next boss arrives.

This continues until you have defeated all 12 bosses or your run ends.

What is involved?

Boss Rush is less about surviving huge numbers of smaller enemies and much more about learning boss attacks, movement patterns and knowing when to commit to damage.

You will need to manage your health across the full run, choose upgrades that actually help your build and adapt when the random boss selection gives you something awkward.

There is no guaranteed boss order, and there is no special fixed boss waiting in slot 12.

Every position in the run uses the same random boss selection system.

That also means repeats are possible.

You might get a completely different selection next time, or you might end up facing the same nightmare more than once.

What should I expect?

Expect a much more concentrated version of Eggy Swarm.

Boss fights start quickly, there is very little downtime, and your build develops through the upgrade choices earned between encounters.

The Boss Rush HUD keeps track of your current progress through the run, showing which boss number you are currently fighting out of the 12 required.

Mobile players also get a dedicated Boss Rush layout with a compact combat HUD, boss health display and simplified controls designed specifically for the mode.

Complete all 12 fights and you conquer the Boss Rush.

Fail along the way and your run ends wherever the bosses managed to stop you.

If you already know the Eggy Swarm bosses well, this is where that knowledge gets tested.
