This forum is for finding other Eggy members to play with.
If you want someone to join you for a Pool match, a Swarm session, a challenge, a multiplayer run or anything else that needs another player, post here.
What should I include?
Try to give people enough information to know what you are looking for.
Useful details include:
- Which game you want to play
- What mode you want to play
- Whether it is casual or competitive
- How many players you need
- When you are available
- Your timezone if timing matters
- Any level, rank or experience requirements
- Whether voice chat is needed
- Anything else players should know before joining
A good post might look like:
Looking for 1 player for Eggy Pool tonight
Casual match, no rank requirement. I should be online from around 8 PM UK time.
Or:
Need 2 players for a Swarm multiplayer run
Looking for a relaxed run. No problem if you are still learning the game.
Keep thread titles clear
Try to mention the game and what you need in the title.
Good examples:
- Pool - Looking for a match tonight
- Swarm - Need 2 players for multiplayer
- Looking for someone to practice Pool with
- Swarm squad wanted for a casual run
Avoid vague titles such as:
- Anyone?
- Play?
- Need help
- Who is online?
Clear titles make it much easier for the right people to find your thread.
Be realistic about requirements
You are welcome to look for experienced players, ranked players or people with a particular play style.
Just be clear about it.
Do not use this forum to put people down because they are new, lower ranked or still learning.
If you only want experienced players, say so politely in the thread.
Do not spam multiple threads
You do not need to create several threads for the same request.
If you are still looking for players, update your existing thread where possible.
Once you have found enough people, you can edit the thread to say the group is full or ask staff to close it if needed.
No harassment or pressure
If somebody says no, leaves a group or decides they do not want to play, leave it there.
Do not repeatedly message, tag or pressure members into joining you.
This forum is for finding willing players, not chasing people around the site.
Keep arrangements on topic
Use the thread to organise the game or session you posted about.
If the conversation turns into general game discussion, move that part to the normal Eggy Games forum instead.
Report problems properly
If another player cheats, abuses an exploit, harasses someone or causes a serious problem during a game, do not turn the Looking for Players thread into a public argument.
Use the appropriate report or support route and provide the relevant details.
Have fun
The whole point of this forum is to make it easier to find people to actually play with.
Whether you want one quick Pool match or a full Swarm squad, this is the place to find someone.
Post what you need, keep it clear, and get playing.
