Announcement Eggy Swarm Goes Mobile: Take on the Gauntlet Anywhere

As of today, most Eggy Swarm game modes are now mobile friendly, making it much easier to jump into a game from your phone or tablet.

One mode that really stands out on mobile is Gauntlet.

Gauntlet is different from a normal Swarm run because it is built around progression, risk and knowing when to stop. Instead of playing a single arena, you fight your way through a chain of increasingly difficult stages while building up a credit pot.

There are 10 arenas to conquer:

1. Training Grounds
2. Dead Sector
3. Emberworks
4. Wastelands
5. Sandbox
6. Bloodheart
7. Gilded Nexus
8. Amethyst Bastion
9. Rustwater Ruins
10. Phaseglass Array

Each stage becomes harder than the last, with more waves, tougher enemies and increasingly dangerous conditions.

Stages 1 through 9 gradually increase from 3 waves all the way up to 19 waves.

The final stage, Phaseglass Array, changes things completely. You first survive 5 waves before taking on three bosses back to back. Each boss can also bring additional enemies into the fight, so reaching the end does not mean the pressure is over.

The Gauntlet Pot​

The feature that really makes Gauntlet different is the Pot.

Every time you complete a stage, credits are added to your temporary Gauntlet pot.

You are then given a choice.

Cash Out and keep what you have earned.

Or choose Brave It Out and take your entire pot into the next stage for the chance to earn even more.

The catch is simple.

If you continue and die, you lose the entire pot from that Gauntlet run.

That means every stage becomes a decision between taking the safe reward or risking everything and pushing further.

How to play​

Start a Gauntlet run and survive the required waves in the first arena.

Once the stage is complete, decide whether you want to cash out or continue.

If you continue, your progress moves into the next arena and the difficulty increases.

Your Gauntlet build also carries forward between stages, allowing you to improve your setup as the run progresses.

Keep surviving, keep building your pot and decide how far you are willing to push it.

Reach Phaseglass Array, survive its waves and defeat all three final bosses to fully conquer the Gauntlet.

With Swarm's mobile controls now available across most game modes, Gauntlet is one of the modes that benefits the most. Its shorter stage based structure, constant progression and cash out decisions make it particularly well suited to playing from a phone while still offering one of the most intense challenges in Eggy Swarm.
