Eggy Arcade 1.0.0 is now available
Eggy Arcade is officially available now, one day earlier than originally planned.
The first public release gives XenForo communities a complete browser arcade system with game management, scoring, leaderboards, activity integration and a much more automated ACP experience for site owners.
What is included
Arcade gameplay
Play supported browser games directly from your XenForo community.
Leaderboards and scores
Player scores are recorded and ranked so members can compete for the top positions.
Game activity
Arcade activity can integrate into the wider Eggy ecosystem, allowing gameplay and achievements to become part of the community experience.
Game provider importing
Site owners can import games from supported game feeds without having to manually create every game.
Automatic categories
If an imported game belongs to a category that does not yet exist, Eggy Arcade can create it automatically.
Batch imports
Choose how many games are imported at once, helping avoid timeouts on larger feeds.
Duplicate protection
Games already present in the arcade are detected so duplicate entries are not repeatedly imported.
Automatic fetching
Site owners can configure scheduled game fetching so the arcade can continue growing without constant manual importing.
Improved ACP workflow
The Arcade administration area has been designed so site owners can move between games, imports and other Arcade tools without constantly having to navigate back through the main XenForo ACP.
Available now
Eggy Arcade 1.0.0 can now be downloaded from the product area.
The original release was planned for tomorrow, but everything was ready, so there was no reason to make everyone wait another day.
