ROM Console 1.0.4b improves controller handling and compatibility across all included base emulator cores: FCEUmm for NES, Snes9x for SNES, ParaLLEl N64 for Nintendo 64, Gambatte for Game Boy and Game Boy Color, mGBA for Game Boy Advance, and Genesis Plus GX for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

Windows controller input tracking has been improved, including more reliable controller activity detection for leaderboard tracking. Controller handling has also been improved across the base cores for more consistent Windows controller support, while maintaining left analogue stick compatibility throughout the supported systems.

NES audio handling has also been corrected so .nes games can properly produce game audio again.

This release brings the controller tracking, analogue input compatibility, base core compatibility and NES audio fixes together into ROM Console 1.0.4b.

ROM Console 1.0.4 introduces a new Challenges system with configurable Daily, Weekly, Repeatable and Permanent challenges.

Challenges can reward XP directly into the existing ROM Console progression and ranking system, with live countdown timers for resets and repeatable cooldowns.

Administrators can create and manage challenges directly from the ROM Console section of the ACP, including objectives, targets, rewards, schedules, cooldowns and completion limits.

A new Challenge Leaderboard tracks XP earned from completed challenges alongside completion totals and the current user’s position.

Maintenance update following XenForo 2.3.13. Refreshes the affected file health hash for ROM Console.

ROM Console 1.0.2 is a maintenance and reliability release focused on runtime correctness, security, upgrade safety and configuration consistency.

This release includes fixes for payment webhook handling, leaderboard scoring and filtering, guest access controls, global enable/disable behaviour, preserved-data reinstall migrations, cloud autosave timing, Recent Games limits, reward settings in the dedicated player, ROM ownership confirmation and multi-decimal currency handling.

ROM ownership confirmation is now explicitly required before a new local ROM is added to the user's library.

A number of internal integrity and release packaging improvements have also been completed, including corrected XenForo file-health hashes and cleaner base runtime packaging.

Existing ROM Console data and settings are preserved during upgrade.

Initial public release of Eggy ROM Console 1.0.1.
