Feature-specific requirements​

Some features depend on capabilities provided by your particular ImageMagick/server installation:

• Animated GIF generation: ImageMagick must support writing genuine multi-frame GIF files.
• WebP output: ImageMagick WebP support required.
• JPEG output: ImageMagick JPEG support required.
• AVIF output: ImageMagick AVIF support required if you wish to use AVIF.
• QR code layers: Requires the qrencode server binary and PHP proc_open access.
• Batch ZIP functionality: Requires the PHP ZipArchive extension.
• Background/batch processing uses the standard XenForo job queue.

Unsupported optional formats are detected automatically and are not offered where the server cannot produce them.

Hosting recommendation​

Graphics rendering — particularly large canvases, multiple layers, effects and animation — can be resource intensive. A sensible PHP memory limit and sufficient server memory, temporary storage and disk space are strongly recommended.
