System Inbox is a new dashboard area for important Eggy BNC account and service messages from Eggy Support. It gives users one clear place to read service updates, account notices, safety notices, and direct admin messages.

Eggy BNC now includes System Inbox, a dedicated dashboard area where users can read important account notices, service updates, safety notices, and direct messages from Eggy Support.
System Inbox is designed for one-way messages that users may need to read but do not need to reply to directly. These messages may include service updates, maintenance information, dashboard changes, safety notices, account-related notices, or other important information about your Eggy BNC account.
When a new system message is sent to all users, you may also receive a short notification through IRC letting you know that a new message is waiting in your dashboard. This notification is only there to alert you that something new is available to read. The full message will be available inside your dashboard under System Inbox.
System Inbox can also be used to message specific users directly. For example, if there is an issue with a user’s account, setup, dashboard access, BNC configuration, or something that needs private admin attention, Eggy Support may send that user a direct System Inbox message instead of sending a public announcement.
System Inbox is not the same as IRC Inbox, Web Chat, or the support ticket system. IRC Inbox is for private IRC message catch-up where available. Web Chat is for connecting to IRC from the browser. Support tickets are for two-way help requests. System Inbox is specifically for official one-way account and service messages from Eggy Support or Eggy Admin.
Users can open messages directly from the dashboard, read the full message in a clean popup view, and delete messages from their own inbox when they no longer need them. Deleting a System Inbox message only removes it from that user’s dashboard view. It does not remove the original message globally for other users.
System Inbox gives Eggy BNC a cleaner way to keep users informed without relying only on public notices, IRC channels, or support tickets. It is there to make sure important account and service information has a proper place inside the dashboard.
