Eggy BNC has improved the dashboard network controls so users with multiple IRC networks can clearly remove extra user-managed networks when needed.
Eggy BNC has made a small but useful dashboard improvement for users managing multiple IRC networks.
Some users may have noticed that their dashboard showed several user-managed IRC networks, but the visible network cards only showed a Reconnect option. This could make it unclear where to remove an extra network if the account was using more than one network slot.
That has now been corrected.
Users with more than one user-managed IRC network should now see a clear Remove option in the Your IRC Networks section of the dashboard. This makes it easier to clean up networks you no longer use, free up a network slot, or remove a server you added for testing.
What changed?
The dashboard now makes network removal clearer for eligible accounts.
If your account has more than one user-managed IRC network, each removable network card can show:
Reconnect
Reconnects that IRC network without deleting it.
Remove
Removes that selected user-managed IRC network from your Eggy BNC account.
This change is only about making the existing control easier to access. It does not change how Eggy BNC handles network limits, protected networks, or account safety.
Your protected Eggy support network is not affected
The protected Eggy support network remains separate from your own user-managed IRC networks.
That means:
Your Eggy support network does not count against your user-managed network limit.
It cannot be deleted from the dashboard.
It cannot be renamed or replaced as one of your own IRC networks.
It remains available for Eggy support and service access.
The Remove option only applies to your own user-managed IRC networks.
Why this matters
Eggy BNC now includes up to 5 user-managed IRC networks for free accounts, plus the protected Eggy support network. That gives users more flexibility, but it also makes clear controls more important.
If you add a network for testing, move to a different IRC server, or no longer use a network, you should be able to remove it without confusion.
This dashboard update helps make that flow clearer.
Where to find it
Log in to your dashboard and open:
Dashboard → Networks
In the Your IRC Networks section, each user-managed network card shows its current status, server, nickname, channel count, and available actions.
If your account has more than one user-managed IRC network, the removable network cards should now show the Remove button.
Safe network management
Eggy BNC keeps normal network management inside the dashboard so users do not need to manage risky or confusing ZNC commands directly.
Adding, editing, reconnecting, and removing user-managed networks should all be handled from the website dashboard.
This keeps the service simpler, safer, and easier to support.
